Updates for 2024 Appearances

Farseer and Ships books.  Cover art by Jackie Morris

Time to update where  you can find me in 2024!

First of all, let's talked about getting a signed book if you are not near any of these events.  At intervals, I drive up to University Book Store in Seattle, WAshington.  It's a long drive these days, as traffic makes it a couple hours to get there, and if I stay past 2, I know I won't get home until 7 or 8.  So I used to drive up there every month, but I'm cutting that back to every two months.  The next time I will be there will be in June, 2024.  So, please be aware that if you are ordering for a special occasion, do it early.  And then after you order, remember that it won't be shipped until after the second week in June. LINK to order.

My next event will be Phoenix Fan Fusion in Phoenix Arizona, from May 24 to May 26.  As a guest of the convention, I will be doing signings and have signed up to be on panels.  The specific panels are not confirmed yet.  I will do a special blog for PFF once I know them.  LINK for Phoenix Fan Fusion

VIRTUAL ATTENDANCE  Isle of Wonder, on Cres.  Sometime between June 28 and 30.  Due to my age, I've cut back on overseas festivals.  But I am happy to virtually attend Isle of wonder.  That link goes to their YouTube promo.  I hope I did that right!

Then, of course, There is San Diego Comic Con, now known as International Comic Con.  That runs from July 24 to July 28.  I'm thinking of attending.  As a former Guest of Honor there, they let me attend any year that I choose to, but I'm not officially booked on any panels.  I can request an autograph table session.  Hm.  I'm a bit on the fence on this one.  So watch for updates to this one.

And recently I've been invited back to Grit City.  It's a favorite of mine, a family friendly, on-day event held in the convention center in Tacoma, Washington.  It's on November 9 this year, and they will be updating their website in May.  But yes, I will be there, and this year I will actually have comics!  The Dark Horse Graphic Novel of Assassin's Apprentice.  Both volumes should be available by then.

And that's it for now.  Kat Ogden and I are tossing around the idea of having some writer meet-ups, possibly in Seattle or maybe down here in McKenna Washington if I can get my new offices painted and made respectable!  If we can make that fly, I'll be posting about it here.

And many thanks for being interested!

Robin
